The Wat Doi Suthep at the top is the holiest Buddhist in the North and naturally many pilgrims visit there. Many others go there to enjoy the panoramic view over Chiang Mai and the surrounding countryside. Others for the forest and parkland and the royal palaces and residence.

One relatively uknown treasure are the flowers in the are around the chedi and the ubosot of the Wat (Buddhist temple). With so many other sights it is easy to miss them, but the one who is careful will spot and secretly enjoy this wonderful sights, colours and smells
