Early next day we woke up at 6:30 for an early hike in the Andasibe national park and more specially the Analamazaotra reserve. This park is well known for its population of Idri, the largest living lemurs.
Waking up in the jungle is magical. Outside our cabin windows the view was eery with early mist around. Idris are known to come up to the forest edge and communicate with their early morning songs but it didn’t happy that day. We were told it was maybe a little cold for them, they usually wake up earlier in the hot (rainy) season.
